Gift from the mission field!

I'm going to attempt to play catch up over the next several days.  But I'll probably be working backwards and jumping around.  Hope I can keep up and keep it all straight!  LOL

I was out in the yard last week, doing one of my least favorite chores, weeding the flower beds, when I got a phone call.  It was a Bro Tolman from Estacada!?  He said he works with Elder Forsyth in Estacada and he was passing through Bountiful and had a box from my missionary to drop off!!

They visited from the car for a little bit, apparently he is one of the ward missionaries in the ward and according to Ben, is super duper helpful to the missionaries.  Both had nothing but good things to say about each other and went on and on about how highly they thought of each other.  Kind of fun!

What was in the box, you ask???

Not a whole lot, a picture of Elder Ben, and a bag of mini Reese's for the kids.  One of them asked him for some as a joke in one of their letters.  And best of all an apron for me!!...
Look what it says!  The kids were making fun of me for being so excited about an apron!  I don't care!  I thought it was waaayyyy Cool!!!

Another Elder Forsyth!

We now have 3 Elder Forsyth's out in the world!  We feel very privileged to be able to see and host our families coming to drop off their missionaries!

Our nephew Elder Alex Forsyth left for the Brazil MTC last month and is busy learning the language and how to teach the gospel in Brazil!   He says he's doing very well and excited to be there!

Another nephew Elder Michael Forsyth went into the Provo MTC this last wednesday!  He's headed to Hungary, Budapest Mission!  He'll be in Provo for about 3 months learning Hungarian.  So about the time Ben reaches his "hump" day, we'll have 3 Elder Forsyths in the world!!!

Here's a couple of pics of his send off from our house!

Last Day of School Party!

I know I'm working backwards, I'm trying to play catch up...

The last day of school we decided to have a late night party.  We had GG and her kids come over and spend the night, we had pizza, and played and watched movies!  Any excuse to have a sleep over with our cousins!!  It was kind of hectic with Beth's graduation right in the middle of it, but it was still loads of fun!

Day Camps & Princess Party

Last Monday, Kim and Aaron headed off to Activity Day's Day Camp and Cub Scout Day Camps.

Kim's was a Father/Daughter so Doug got to go with her.  She was sad to realize this was her last year to go, since she will be turning 12 in March and going into YW! Wow, That's crazy to think about!

Aaron went two days in a row.

The little girls were feeling very left out, they wanted to go.  So Emily decided to have a Princess Party with them!  They started out the morning, by getting their hair and make up done and dressing up like princesses.

Then they had their finger and toe nails painted.

They did various princess activities throughout the day which included,

tea parties,

dancing to princess music,

watching princess DVDs,

reading princess stories on the lawn,

They even had a special princess lunch with crown shaped sandwiches.

When everyone came home, we played soccer together for FHE
and ate ice cream when it was too hot to continue!  : )

June Pack Meeting

Bike Rodeo

We sure have been slacking on our Cub Scout awards with Aaron lately.  He did manage to earn a couple of patches at camp, though!

The kids brought their bikes and scooters and learned about bicycle safety.
They also go to ride their bikes through a bicycle course as well as make up a course of their own.
They were able to pass off stuff in their books and work on their bicycle belt loop and pin!
