American Idol Auditions

Jon & Shawn have decided to audition for American Idol this year.

We went to the Energy Solutions Arena on Sunday morning to register. We only had to stand in line for about an hour and a half. They didn't even take names, The boys had to show two forms of ID and they gave them seat tickets and arms bands. We have to have both in order to audition tomorrow. The person they wanted to be there for the auditon had to be there for an arm band in order to have a seat.

Tomorrow is going to be the interesting day. We have to be back at the Energy Solutions Arena by 5am. They said to plan on being there all day.

I'm not sure what to pray for??? It's pretty much in Heavenly Father's hands.

I wish everyone good luck! Either way it's going to be hard!! I can't wait to find out how it went!

One thing I've always been curious about though is, what happens to their job if they do get picked? Do you gamble a good job for a one in a million chance at a record deal??

Hmmm American Idol, huh?? There are some very wonderful success stories that have come out of that show, but it certainly is not all that we see on tv either.
Pass this to Jon for me, please.
Jon, start writing either lyric or music. Or both! Delve deep down and write. Sing every chance you get, even when you are grocery shopping!
Make your music available to record companies and producers. Start looking for representation.
Consider lessons. And when you have done all you can do, pray.
The music business is cut-throat honey. Even those blessed with such talent never get their "star", but they share their talent none the less. Sing softly to your nana. She is your biggest fan...after me!
I love you HunkaHandsome!
